I painted this (WIP) colour sketch as I like to do without using any reference. It is loosely inspired by the Pin-up art of George Petty for the type of toothy American girl smile, Petty along with Gil Elvgren are two of my favourite artists of this type of illustration most popular in the 40′s, 50′s and 60′s.
